  • Need help with Spanish? The Yorktown Spanish Honor Society is offering FREE tutoring TODAY during ASP 2 in room WW 5. Get extra help with grammar and vocab — and everything you need to succeed. Just sign up with your Spanish teacher to attend, or see Senora Stewart with any questions. Hasta pronto!

  • Do you like current events, politics, and debate? Then we’ve got the perfect activity for you!  The WMS Model UN Club is preparing to host the first ever WOLFMUN — a half-day conference right here at Williambsurg.  The event is scheduled for Saturday, April 29th — and WMS students are STRONGLY encouraged to attend.  It’s just a 1-day commitment to see what MUNning is all about.  See Ms. Carlson in room 202 for more information and to register, or visit their website at wolfmun.wordpress.com — or follow the link through the Morning Announcements blog.

  • Last Friday’s Hoops for Heart celebration in the gym was a SLAM DUNK!  And on behalf of the PE staff — thanks to everyone who participated for your commitment and generosity.  Just a reminder that donation envelopes are due to Ms. Young by April 21st — and all money raised will go to support the American Heart Association.  Do your part for Hoops for Heart!!
  • Calling all film-makers and video-jockeys! The Arlington Student FilmFest is now accepting entries for its 2017 competition. To submit your video and application, just follow the link on the WOLF-TV section of the WMS website. The deadline is April 3rd.  Now go make some movie magic!
  • The WMS March Madness “Tournament of Books” has reached the Final Four!! It’s “Maze Runner” vs. “The Fault in Our Stars” — and “Divergent” vs. “The Hunger Games.”  To learn more about each contestant, just scan the QR codes by the cafeteria. Then, submit your picks by this FRIDAY using the Tournament of Books QR code, or just go to the WOLF-TV section on the WMS website. May the best book win!!
