- It’s every American’s civic duty to elect the President of the USA… And it’s every Wolf’s civic duty to elect the President of the SCA! The SCA election will be held TOMORROW and WEDNESDAY during TA. Students will be able to access the election ballot by scanning a QR Code with their iPads.

Your votes will determine not only the President, but also the vice-president, secretary, treasurer, historian, and event coordinator. But today, it’s time to meet your three Presidential Candidates — to help YOU decide who should lead the school!
- The WMS tennis team wrapped up an AMAZING season last Thursday at the County Championships. Everyone brought their ‘A’ game and showed great heart and sportsmanship. A special congratulations to Anthony G. — who made it all the way to the boys finals. And to Alexandra M. — who WON the girls’ Championship for the 2nd consecutive year!! All players are reminded to come to the end-of-year tennis party — this THURSDAY during ASP 1 in Mr. Seeger’s room. Be sure to bring your WMS tennis shirt and a few dollars for pizza. Way to go, tennis wolves!! [clap]
- The deadline to submit your entry to the annual “Reflections” contest is TODAY! This year’s theme — “What is your story?” — can be represented through music, art, dance, poetry, and anything else you can imagine. Just drop your submission in the “Reflections” box in the library, and good luck!!
- Sister Circle will be meeting TODAY during ASP 1 in room 233. Please see Ms. Pointer for more information.
- Attention all Model UN students going to conferences this SATURDAY: you MUST turn-in your delegate fees by TOMORROW. This is VERY important! Please see Ms. Carlson with any questions.
- Hey 8th graders! Take ownership of your high school education at Arlington Tech! Hosted by the Arlington Career Center, Arlington Tech offers real-world education opportunities in STEM and CTE. Want to learn more? Then take the field trip on November 1st and see all that Arlington Tech has to offer. Permission slips MUST be turned-in by TOMORROW. Please see Ms. Flynn or Mr. Hicks for more information.
- Hey 7th grade — are you ready to PARTY?! The 7th Grade “Oktoberfest” is this THURSDAY after school in the cafeteria. Come for music, dancing, snacks, games and prizes. Be sure to remind your parents to donate food, drinks, paper products, and gifts for the raffle — or they can even volunteer — because who DOESN’T want their MOM to be at their middle school party???? The 7th grade Octoberfest — don’t forget your “lederhosen!”
- Dribble, pass, shoot, SCORE!! WMS girls soccer is about to begin!! Interested athletes are asked to sign-up on the activity board by the cafeteria — and you must have a physical on file to participate. Tryouts for 6th graders are next MONDAY, for 7th graders next TUESDAY, and 8th graders next THURSDAY. Sign-ups for Girls Soccer are posted on the activity board next to the cafeteria. There will be an information session during all grade-level lunches TOMORROW in room C102. Please see Coach Girard with any questions.
- Discovery Elementary School will be hosting “PumpkinFest” on Sunday, October 30th from 12 to 4PM. There will be a parade, pumpkin carving contest, dunk tank, moon bounce, food trucks and a ton of games. But they need YOUR HELP! Discovery needs middle school VOLUNTEERS to help make PumpkinFest a success. Interested students are encouraged to sign-up in the main office.
- Boys Ultimate Frisbee is set to begin next MONDAY, October 24th. 6th, 7th and 8th graders are all encouraged to join. No experience necessary — just a love of the game. Interested athletes are asked to sign up on the activity board by the cafeteria — and you do NOT need a physical to play. Please see Mr. Smo, Mr. Witte, or Mr. Clark for more information.
