  • Today we will be following the A-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 1, 3, 5, and 7. But there are NO WOLF TIME classes today — so all students should return to their TAs for Wolf Time.  Again, this is an A-Day — and Wolf Time will be in your TA. See your TA teacher with any questions.
    .
  • Calling all swimmers and divers!  The first practice for both the swim and dive teams is TODAY after school.  All participating students should meet at door number-4 by 2:40pm, and then everyone will be walking to the Yorktown pool together. See Ms. Hogwood with any questions.
    .
  • Calling all MUNNERS!  The WMS Model UN Club is meeting TODAY during ASP I in room C105. Participants will be discussing the upcoming conference, and practicing proper UN procedures. See Mr. McDermott with any questions.
    .
  • Let’s DANCE!!  The Homecoming Glow Party for 7th and 8th graders is scheduled for Friday, February 27th, from 6 to 9 p.m. in the school gym.  Come dressed to “glow” and ready to have an amazing time with friends, music, and school spirit!  You don’t want to miss it.  Students can purchase tickets during lunch for just 2-dollars each. Let’s light up the night, wolves!!

  • The “snowcrete” is finally melting, but it will never be forgotten — especially if we include it in the WMS Yearbook!  If you have any pictures from all those snow days — like sledding, shoveling, or playing in the snow — please share them by clicking the submission link on the WMS homepage. And your picture could be featured in the 2026 yearbook! See Ms. McFerran with any questions.
    .
  • Give a helping hand to those in need!  The WMS Helping Hands Club is hosting a Food Drive for the Arlington Food Assistance Center — from now through Thursday.  Students are encouraged to donate canned goods and pantry items to the collection bins located in each grade-level hallway.
    .
But wait — there’s MORE!  Whichever grade donates the most food will get a POPSICLE PARTY!  So you can help people AND get a sweet treat.  As of now, the 6th grade is in the lead.  But there’s still time for the 7th or 8th grades to catch up.  Who’s going to win?  Show your donation domination, Williamsburg, and give to the Helping Hands Food Drive!

According to the Guinness Book of World Records, the best-selling album of all time is credited to Michael Jackson — the King of Pop — when his “Thriller” album sold nearly 100-MILLION copies in 1982.  And following his death in 2009, he also set the record as the first artist to sell more than 1-million digital downloads of his music.  Michael Jackson’s music continues to inspire musicians to this day.
