  • Today is an EARLY RELEASE day, so the schedule is a little different than usual.  We will be following a modified C-Day schedule. That means TA ends at 7:55, and then you’ll be attending periods 1 through 7.  So be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class.  Again, this is a modified C-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.
    .
  • And since today is a half-day, there are NO after school activities or late buses.  So please make sure you’ve made arrangements to get home. See Ms. Hogwood with any questions.
    .
  • Show someone you care this holiday season and get them a Candy Gram! This week, you can get a peppermint candy cane for 1-dollar, or a special flavor 2-dollars.  Just place an order through your TA teacher, and they’ll be delivered to the person of your choice before Winter Break.  All proceeds will benefit the WMS Best Buddies Club.  See Ms. Nance with any questions about Candy Grams. Happy Holidays!!

  • ’Tis the season to be giving! The WMS SCA is collecting winter clothing for families in need throughout the Metro DC region.  Requested items include gently used winter boots, coats, hats, gloves, and scarves.  Donation bins can be found in the main lobby and by the cafeteria until January 9th. See Ms. Dittimus with any questions.
    .
  • And now for a “wellness tip” from our school clinic!  It’s cold, flu, and covid season again — so here are three simple strategies for keeping our shared environment HEALTHY and SAFE!  First:  WASH YOUR HANDS multiple times a day — especially before and after you eat.  Second: Fully cover your mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing.  And third: if you’re not feeling well, please STAY HOME.  Together, we can stop these germs and viruses BEFORE they spread.  See our school nurse with any questions.
