• Today we will be following the B-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 2, 4, 5, and 6 — plus Wolf Time — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. Again, this is a B-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.

• Calling all MUNNERS! The WMS Model UN Club is meeting TODAY in room C105 during ASP I. Participants in the upcoming conference will be working on their position papers. And there will be alternate activities for everyone else. See Mr. McDermott with any questions.

• Takedown — reversal — PIN!!  The WMS Co-ed Wrestling team is hosting an informational meeting TODAY during ASP 1 in the cafeteria.  Interested wrestlers are asked to bring an iPad to the meeting.  See Ms. Hogwood with any questions.

• Roses are red, violets are blue — and we’ve got a brand new club for you!  The WMS Poetry Club will be hosting its first meeting of the year TODAY during ASP 1 in room 209.  If you like to write poetry, read poetry, draw pictures inspired by poetry, or anything else, please come and check it out.  See Ms. Dizayee with any questions.

• Show someone you care this holiday season and get them a Candy Gram! This week, you can get a peppermint candy cane for 1-dollar, or a special flavor 2-dollars.  Just place an order through your TA teacher, and they’ll be delivered to the person of your choice before Winter Break.  All proceeds will benefit the WMS Best Buddies Club.  See Ms. Nance with any questions about Candy Grams. • Calling all scientific students!!  It’s time to take your Independent Science Project to the next level.  If you would like to participate in the 2026 WMS Science Fair, please sign-up using the QR code on your screen — or follow the link in the Morning Announcements Blog on the WMS Website.  The deadline to register is Wednesday, December 17th.  And the Science Fair is scheduled for Tuesday, January 13th.  See Ms. Zarro, Mr. Thompson, or your science teacher with any questions.  Good luck, scientists!!

• ’Tis the season to be giving! The WMS SCA is collecting winter clothing for families in need throughout the Metro DC region.  Requested items include gently used winter boots, coats, hats, gloves, and scarves.  Donation bins can be found in the main lobby and by the cafeteria until January 9th. See Ms. Dittimus with any questions.

• And now it’s time for WOLF PACK PRIDE!!  Congratulations to the WMS Boys Basketball team, who completed their PERFECT season with a big win against Jefferson on Thursday:  47 to 17.  This was the first time our boys basketball team has gone undefeated since 2011 — a span of FIFTEEN YEARS.  And they’ve been named the Arlington County CHAMPIONS!!

  We’d like to give a special shout out to all of the 8th graders on the basketball team, who made their final season at Williamsburg one to remember:   Ayden, Theo, Drew, Morgan, Maddox, Davis, Lawson, Greg and Sajan!  And big props to all of the 6th and 7th grade players — who will carry on our winning ways next year.  Way to go, baller wolves!! [clap]
