Today we will be following the A-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 1, 3, 5, and 7 — plus Wolf Time — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. Again, this is an A-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.

WMS is working with the Crayon Initiative — an organization that recycles and melts down used crayons, then makes NEW crayons for kids in the hospital. So if you’ve got any old crayons lying around, please bring them to room 106. Your donation will not only support the environment, but a child in need as well. See Mr. Thompson with any questions.

And now for a “technology tip” from Ms. Stokes-Beverley and Ms. Hwang! If there’s anything wrong with your iPad — including password problems, keyboard issues, cracked screen, broken apps, WiFi, or anything else — please tell your TA teacher so they can notify technology support. They’ll have you back online in no time!!

And now for a “wellness tip” from our school clinic! It’s cold, flu, and covid season again — so here are three simple strategies for keeping our shared environment HEALTHY and SAFE! First — WASH YOUR HANDS multiple time a day. Second — Fully cover your mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing. And third — if you’re not feeling well, please STAY HOME. Together, we can stop these germs and viruses BEFORE they spread. See our school nurse with any questions.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. To show our support, we’re raising money with a “Pie the Teacher” contest! And YOU get to choose who it’s gonna be! Three brave teachers from each grade have volunteered. And whichever teacher raises the most money during lunch this month will get pied on October 30th. So let’s come together as a community, have some fun, and support Breast Cancer Awareness. Thanks for your help, wolves!!

Unleash your inner artist and submit to the PTA Reflections Contest! This year’s theme is: “I Belong!” Projects can include Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography, or Visual Arts.
