- Today, we will be administering the NWEA MAP test for Math to the entire school. To accommodate the test, everyone should go immediately to their testing location. Again, you should NOT have gone to TA — everyone should be at your testing location RIGHT NOW.
.
And here’s a little more information about the MAP test. All you need is your iPad, but you may also have a pencil, a water bottle, and a book to read for when you’re finished. No phones, earbuds, smart watches, nor any other electronic devices are allowed. See your teacher with any other questions. And good luck on the test!!
. - When the testing period is over, we will be following a modified B-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 2, 4, 5, and 6 — but there is NO Wolf Time. Again, this is a modified B-Day, with no Wolf Time. See your teacher with any questions.
. - What are YOU doing after school this year? The WMS Activities Fair is scheduled for NEXT WEEK — MONDAY for 6th graders, and WEDNESDAY for 7th and 8th graders — both starting at 3pm in the cafeteria. Meet with coaches, club sponsors, teachers, and participating students — and find the best activity for you! Late buses will be provided for all students who attend. See you at the Activities Fair!!
. - Calling all returning Anime Club members!! If you would like to help out at the Activities Fair next week, please join Ms. Armistead in the cafeteria on Monday and/ or Wednesday from 2:50 to 4pm. It will be Anime-zing!! Thanks for your help, Anime-niacs!!
. - Every Wolf Pack needs a LEADER — and that leader could be YOU! Williamsburg is looking for motivated 6th, 7th, and 8th graders to join the WMS Student Council Association. You can make a real difference — and have fun, too! See Ms. Hogwood for more information about the SCA.
. TONIGHT is Rising Patriot Band Night during the Yorktown High School football game. Students and staff are encouraged to attend, and support our 8th grade band as they perform on the field.
.- And YOU can perform, too! The Yorktown Color Guard is inviting all 4th through 8th grade students to join them on the field tonight for a special performance. Just scan the QR code located in the Morning Announcements Blog to register — or see Mr. Edwards with any questions.
