Calling all Anime-niacs!! The last Anime Club meeting of the year is TODAY during ASP1 in Room 109. Participants will be celebrating with karaoke, a talent show, party snacks, and Cosplay. It’s going to be Anime-zing!! Plus, you’ll be getting your artwork back from the Spring Showcase. Contact Ms. Armistead with any questions.

The end-of-the-year is in sight! And you know what that means: it’s nearly time for the 4th quarter Wolf Paw Drawing!! This Friday is the LAST Wolf Paw Drawing of the year. But to be eligible, you MUST turn-in your Wolf Paws by TODAY. Late “paws” will not be accepted, so again — be sure to turn-in your Wolf Paws TODAY! Good luck, wolves!!

And now for a “technology tip” from Ms. Stokes-Beverley and Ms. Hwang! Once again, it’s time to update your iPad! APS has just approved the newest iPad operating system — iOS 18-point-4-point-1. Here’s what to do: Just go to“Settings”, select “Software Update”, tap “Download” and then “Install.” Please update your iPad by this THURSDAY. And if you need help, get a pass to see Ms. Stokes-Beverley in room C-103. Once again, everyone should update your iPad to iOs 18-point-4-point-1.

Who do you think would win a basketball game between our WMS students and our WMS staff?? Well, we’re about to find out! This THURSDAY after school, 8th graders from the boys’ and girls’ basketball teams are taking on their teachers in a winner-takes-all match. Plus, they’ll be selling snacks outside of the gym, and late buses will be provided at 4:15. So come on out, pack the stands, and root the kids — or the boomers — on to victory!!

And now for an important announcement from our Activities Coordinator! Please be aware that there is NO late bus today. And TOMORROW will the the LAST late bus of the year. So make sure if you’re staying after school next week, you’ve got your own transportation home. See Ms. Hogwood with any questions.

It’s nearly the end of the year, and the school librarians want their books back! All WMS library books are now OVERDUE. So look in your backpack, your locker, and under your bed at home — and BRING IN YOUR BOOKS! See Ms. Tan in the library with any questions.

And now for a special announcement from the 8th grade Family and Consumer Science class. This is Luna, just one of the many sweet puppies and dogs from the Animal Welfare League of Arlington. You can help Luna and her canine friends by donating old T-shirts which will be recycled into dog toys. Just bring your donation to room 128 by TODAY— and Ms. McFerran will give you a Wolf Paw for your support. Thanks for your help, Wolves!!

Hey, 8th graders! Are you ready to PARTY??? The 8th grade Boardwalk Beach Carnival and Dance is scheduled for this Friday night from 6 to 8pm. There will be dancing, selfies, delicious food, AMAZING prizes, and of course, hanging out with your best friends from middle school.

The dance is for 8th grade Williamsburg students ONLY. Drop off and pick up in the bus loop. Attendees are encouraged to dress up in “beach” attire — but NO BATHING SUITS. The 8th grade Boardwalk Beach Carnival and Dance on Friday— get in on the fun!!

And now it’s time for WOLF PACK PRIDE!! Congratulations to the WMS girls’ soccer team — who defeated the WMS boys’ soccer team yesterday by a score of 4 to 3!

It was great game from start to finish — and both sides played with skill and sportsmanship. But in the end, our 2024 County Champion girls’ soccer team reigned supreme. Way to go, soccer wolves!! [clap]
