- It’s SPIRIT WEEK here at WMS — and today we’re wrapping it up with the WMS Pep Rally!! There will be performances, events, and games galore — as your teachers and classmates show off their school spirit.
.
To accommodate the Pep Rally, we will be following a modified B-Day schedule. That means TA ends at 8am, then you’ll be attending periods 2, 4, 5, and 6 — plus Wolf Time. So make sure you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. Once again, this is a modified B-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.
.
And then — at roughly 1 o’clock — the Pep Rally will begin! Students should first report to their Period 6(B) classrooms for attendance, and then your teacher will escort you to the Gym. Please leave all of your books and belongings in your classroom. And be sure to wear your class colors — 6th grade blue, 7th grade white, and 8th grade black.
.
And remember — we want to have fun, but we also need to be respectful and appropriate. See you at the Pep Rally, wolves!!
. - Do you like donuts??? Then you’re in luck! The WMS check-in program is selling donuts TODAY after school by the cafeteria and the main entrance. All money raised will benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society — an organization that helps kids with cancer. Cash only, please!! See Ms. Kia with any questions. And thanks for your support, wolves!
. - And now it’s time for WOLF PACK PRIDE!! We’ve got a big SHOUT OUT to 7th grader Charlie W. — who has qualified for BOTH the U.S. Kids Golf World Championship In North Carolina, AND the Optimist International World Championship in Florida!!
.
These tournaments are among the BIGGEST junior golf events of the year, and it’s an INCREDIBLE honor just to be invited. We know that he’s going to do great. Way to go, Charlie!!! [clap]
