Calling all 8th graders! The end-of-the-year field trip to Kings Dominion is just a few months away — but TODAY is your LAST CHANCE to submit your permission slip and payment. If you don’t turn them in, then you WON’T get to go. Please bring them to Ms. Willet or Mr. Treble. See your World Geo teacher with any other questions or to get a new permission slip. Don’t miss out on the fun, 8th graders!!

And now for a “wellness tip” from our school clinic! It’s cold, flu, and covid season again — so here are three simple strategies for keeping our shared environment HEALTHY and SAFE! First — WASH YOUR HANDS!! Second — Fully cover your mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing. And third — if you’re not feeling well, please STAY HOME. Together, we can stop these germs and viruses BEFORE they spread. See our school nurse with any questions.

Calling all film-makers, journalists, and video-jockeys! There’s just 2-days left to submit your film to the Arlington Student FilmFest. To participate, just scan the QR code located in the Morning Announcements Blog, or contact Mr. Schonfeld and he’ll walk you through the application process. Now go make some movie magic!

Ready, set, READ!! Today is your LAST CHANCE to vote for the Elite-8 in the March Madness Tournament of Books! This year’s contenders are a mix of the most checked-out books from the library AND recommendations from the TAB Club.

Just go to the WMS Library Canvas Course to cast your vote. We’ll announce the results next week. And remember: the TA in each grade with the best bracket will win a prize — so make your vote count! The March Madness Tournament of Books — may the best book win!!

And now it’s time for WOLF PACK PRIDE!! The WMS Dive Team took on Kenmore Middle School on Tuesday — and they did GREAT!!

Big props to 8th grader Landon P. who took FIRST PLACE for the boys, and to 6th grader Alexandra K. and 7th grader Harper R. who took FIRST and SECOND place, respectively, for the girls.

And congratulations to the entire team for starting the season strong! Way to go, water wolves!!
