  • Today we will be following the B-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 2, 4, 5, and 6 — plus Wolf Time — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. Again, this is a B-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.

  • Takedown… Reversal.. PIN!!  Today, Williamsburg Middle School is hosting the Arlington County Middle School Wrestling Meet in the gym.  To accommodate the competition, all PE classes are being moved to the auditorium.  Once again, all PE students should go directly to the auditorium for PE today. And if you see our wrestlers around the school this morning, be sure to wish them good luck in the wrestling meet!!

  • Calling all MUNNERS!! The WMS Model UN Club is meeting TODAY in room C105 during ASP I. Participants will continue their crisis committee scenarios, and prepare their position papers for this weekend’s conference. See Mr. McDermott with any questions.

  • Attention Technology Wolves!  Wolfbots Robotics and the Technology Student Association will NOT be meeting this week.  But you can look forward to more technology fun next week.  Once again, both the Wolfbots and the TSA are CANCELLED this week.  See Mr. Dudek with any questions.

  • Attention Anime Club!  The next Anime Club meeting is scheduled for this WEDNESDAY during ASP 1 in room 109.  Participants will be working on their spring showcase pieces — so be sure to bring your art supplies and sketch pads. Contact Ms. Armistead with any questions.

  • I hope you’ve been on your best behavior lately, because Parent-Teacher Conferences are THIS WEEK — Thursday from 4:30 to 7:30pm; and FRIDAY from 8 to 11:30am.  Conferences will be conducted “Arena Style” — so tell your families that no appointment is necessary. Just come on in and have a chat!  Parents and teachers together — what could be better than that?!

  • WHAT ARE THOSE??? As part of our school’s commitment to sustainability, Williamsburg is supporting a Sneaker Recycling Program called “Got Sneakers!!” So if you have any old shoes lying around, please donate them to “Got Sneakers” by dropping them off in room 233. Again, bring your old shoes to room 233.  See Mr. Sundwick with any questions.

  • Attention 6th graders! WMS is now recruiting 6th grade STUDENT AMBASSADORS for the remainder of the year!  Student Ambassadors represent our school at special events, help to build a positive community, and give tours to new students!  So we’re looking for outgoing, responsible, and friendly students who will make them feel welcome here in our shared community.

    If you’d like to apply to be a 6th grade Student Ambassador, please pick up an application from the Main Office or the Counseling Suite.  Applications must be completed and returned by Monday, March 17th.  See Ms. Russo with any questions.

  • March Madness graphic, 2025Ready, set, READ!! The 9th annual March Madness Tournament of Books is about to begin!!  This year’s contenders are a mix of the most checked-out books from the library AND recommendations from the TAB Club.
    .
    Here’s what to do:  work with your TA to create a Sweet-16 bracket — and have it completed by next WEDNESDAY at the latest.  Students will then vote for their favorite books every week until we crown our champion.  And the TA with the best bracket will win a prize!! The first round of voting will begin next Monday. For more information, just go your library Canvas course.  And may the best book win!!

  • Spirit Week, March 2025It’s Spirit Week here at WMS!  Thanks to all the students and staff who dressed up for today’s theme:  Crazy Hair and Crazy Hat Day!  You’ve got spirit, yes you do!!

    And here’s the rundown for the rest of the week:  Wednesday is Smurf Day — so wear something blue; and Thursday is Green and Gold Day — just like a lucky leprechaun.

    So get into the spirit for Spirit Week — all this week.  And be a part of the Wolf Pack Pride!!

  • And as part of the Spirit Week celebration, the annual 6th Grade Dance is this WEDNESDAY, from 3 to 4:30 in the school cafeteria.
    .
    There will be music, dancing, snacks, and best of all — hanging out with your friends.  The 6th grade Dance on Wednesday after school — dance ’til you drop, 6th graders!!!
