  • What’s that buzz?  It’s the WMS Geo Bee! Over the next few weeks, Social Studies classrooms will be quizzing students to find representatives for the school-wide Geo Bee later this year.  Do you have what it takes to win this annual event? Let’s find out with this sample question!

  • Black History Month, 2/18/2025And now, it’s time for “Black History Month — That’s a FACT!!”

    Today’s fact is about Henry Box Brown — an enslaved Black man from Virginia.  In 1849, Brown escaped to freedom by packing himself into a crate and MAILING himself to Pennsylvania! He went on to become an outspoken abolitionist, moved to England, and became a magician.  And That’s a Fact!!
