Due to the late start today, we will be following a modified A-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 1, 3, 5, and 7 — but classes are a little shorter than usual. Also, there are NO WOLF TIME classes today, so all students should go back their TA classrooms for Wolf Time. Once again, this is a modified A-Day and there is no Wolf Time. See your TA teacher with any questions.

Who’s ready to party?! The 7th and 8th grade “Sneaker Ball Dance” is scheduled for this FRIDAY from 6:30 to 8:30pm in the WMS gym. There will be a DJ, dancing, and snacks. And best of all: hanging out with your friends. But please — NO OUTSIDE GUESTS. Once again, the 7th and 8th grade Sneaker Ball Dance is this Friday night. And be sure to wear your sneakers!

It’s SPIRIT WEEK here at Williamsburg, sponsored by the Student Council Association. Thanks to all the students and staff who dressed up for today’s theme: Class Colors Day! You’ve got spirit, yes you do!!

And here’s the rundown for the rest of the week: Tomorrow is Flashy Friday — so wear your best Hollywood Bling! Plus, everyone is encouraged to wear SNEAKERS — leading up to the 7th and 8th grade Sneaker Ball Dance!

And now it’s time for WOLF PACK PRIDE!! Congratulations to the WMS boys basketball team — who overcame a 6-point deficit to defeat Jefferson Middle School on Tuesday: 41 to 31.

It was a great all-around effort! And with the win, our team remains UNDEFEATED on the young season. Let’s see if they can keep it going TODAY against Dorothy Hamm. Way to go, baller wolves!! [clap]

And now, it’s time for “Black History Month — That’s a FACT!!”

Today’s fact is about Thomas Martin — an inventor who created a new kind of Fire Extinguisher in 1872. His design used pipes to carry water to valves in the ceiling. These “sprinklers” were an effective way to extinguish fires in buildings. And That’s a Fact!!
