Today we will be following the B-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 2, 4, 5, and 6 — plus Wolf Time — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. Again, this is a B-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.

And here’s another important scheduling note — this week, 7th and 8th graders with semester-long electives will begin their new classes. So make sure you know where your new elective is located — and see your grade-level counselor with any other questions. Again, new semester-long classes for 7th and 8th graders begin this week.

It’s nearly time for the 2nd quarter Wolf Paw Drawing!! That’s right — the 2nd Quarter Wolf Paw Drawing is this FRIDAY. But to be eligible for a prize, you MUST submit your Wolf Paws to your grade-level box by this WEDNESDAY. Prizes are now on display outside of the library. There’s some great stuff in there, so come take a look! Once again, please submit your Wolf Paws by this WEDNESDAY. And good luck!!

Calling all MUNNERS! The WMS Model UN Club UN is meeting TODAY during ASP I in room C105. Participants will receive permission slips for their upcoming conferences, and will discuss UN policy on migrants. All are welcome! See Mr. McDermott with any questions.

Who’s ready to party?! The 7th and 8th grade “Sneaker Ball Dance” is scheduled for this FRIDAY from 6:30 to 8:30pm in the WMS gym. There will be a DJ, dancing, snacks. And best of all — hanging out with your friends. Once again, the 7th and 8th grade Sneaker Ball Dance is this Friday night. And be sure to wear your sneakers!

It’s SPIRIT WEEK here at Williamsburg, sponsored by the Student Council Association. Thanks to all the students and staff who dressed up for today’s theme: Tie Day! You’ve got spirit, yes you do!!

And here’s the rundown for the rest of the week: Wednesday is Favorite Celebrity Day — but be sure it’s appropriate for middle school! Thursday is Class Colors Day — 6th grade Blue, 7th grade White, and 8th grade Black! And we wrap it up with Flashy Friday — so wear your best Hollywood Bling! Plus, everyone is encouraged to wear SNEAKERS all week long — leading up to the 7th and 8th grade Sneaker Ball Dance!

And now it’s time for WOLF PACK PRIDE!! The WMS boy’s basketball team defeated Gunston Middle School last Wednesday — 45 to 28. The win makes them a perfect 2 and 0 on the season.

Big props to Finley — who scored a game-high 15 points — and to the entire team for playing an all-around strong game on both offense and defense. Way to go, baller wolves!! [clap]

Up next for boys basketball, they’re taking on Jefferson Middle School TODAY at 3:30 in the WMS gym. Jefferson is also undefeated this year, so there’s a lot on the line. Students and staff are encouraged to pack the stands and root the Wolf Pack to victory!!

Today’s fact is about Langston Hughes — who rose to fame in the mid-20th century during the Harlem Renaissance. He was a celebrated poet, playwright, novelist, essayist, and social activist. And his work continues to inspire people all over the world today. And That’s a Fact!!
