Today we will be following the B-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 2, 4, 5, and 6 — plus Wolf Time — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. Again, this is a B-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.

Believe it or not, but TODAY is the last day of the 2nd Quarter! So be sure to check StudentVue and talk to your teachers about any missing assignments or make-up work. Again, grades close TODAY!

And now that the quarter is ending, you know what that means — it’s nearly time for the 2nd quarter Wolf Paw Drawing!! That’s right — the 2nd Quarter Wolf Paw Drawing is next FRIDAY. But to be eligible for a prize, you MUST submit your Wolf Paws by next WEDNESDAY. There are going to be some great prizes in there — so don’t delay! Be sure to turn in your Wolf Paws by next WEDNESDAY!

Calling all members of the 2nd period symphonic band and 3rd period percussion ensemble! Please report to the band room at the beginning of 4th period for today’s special performance. Once again, 2nd period symphonic band and 3rd period percussion ensemble, go to the band room for 4th period.

Attention Anime Club! There is NO Anime Club meeting today — but there will be a meeting NEXT WEDNESDAY at the normal time. Once again, this week’s Anime Club is CANCELLED. Contact Ms. Armistead with any questions.

Calling all students and staff — the WMS Yearbook needs your help!! If you’ve taken any good pictures this year, please consider sharing them with the Yearbook! For example, kids playing in the snow, spirit days, intramurals, or even just hanging out with friends. Or maybe teachers have pictures of special projects or amazing activities in your classroom!

To submit a pic, just scan the QR code on your screen. Or use the link on the WMS website. But TODAY is your last chance to submit pictures, so act fast! And be sure to tag yourself and your friends! See Ms. McFerran with any questions.

And now it’s time for WOLF PACK PRIDE!! Congratulations to all of the students who participated in the Continental Math League competition earlier this month. Contestants had to complete a series of 5-tests — comprised of 6-questions — in just 30-minutes. And your fellow Williamsburghers did GREAT!!
.
The top-6 finishers from each grade are listed on your screen; but in the 6th grade, 7-students tied for 6th place! All of our top finishers demonstrated incredible analytical, reasoning, and critical thinking skills. Way to go, mathematical wolves!! [clap]

Wolf Pack Pride continues with the boys basketball team who won their season opening game against Kenmore yesterday — 38 to 23. Way to go, baller wolves!! [clap]
.
Up next for boys basketball — their first home game is TODAY after school against Gunston. Students and staff are invited to pack the stands and root them on to victory! And be sure to bring some cash, because the check-in program will be selling treats outside of the gym at game time.

And finally — we’ve got spirit, yes we do, we’ve got spirit, how about YOU?!? Next week is SPIRIT WEEK at WMS, sponsored by the Student Council Association.

Here’s the rundown: Monday is PJ Day, so wear your favorite jammies! Tuesday is Tie Day, so dress to impress! Wednesday is Favorite Celebrity Day — but be sure it’s appropriate for middle school! Thursday is Class Colors Day — 6th grade Blue, 7th grade White, and 8th grade Black! And we wrap it up with Flashy Friday — so wear your best Hollywood Bling! Plus, everyone is encouraged to wear SNEAKERS all week long!
