Today we will be following the B-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 2, 4, 5, and 6 — plus Wolf Time — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. Again, this is a B-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.

We’re only about half-way through the school year — but it’s already time to start thinking about next year’s classes! Here’s the plan: counselors from Yorktown High School will be leading an assembly for 8th graders TODAY during 5th period. Students should go to their classrooms first, then come to the auditorium with your teachers. And EVERYONE is reminded to get started on your Course Request Forms, which are due NEXT MONTH.

What’s that buzz??? It’s the first annual WMS Spelling Bee!! Tune in to WOLF-TV — TODAY during 6th period to see the competition. Root on your friends and classmates as they compete for the title of “Supreme Speller!” Once again, the WMS Spelling Bee is TODAY during 6th period on WOLF-TV.

And now for a “technology tip” from Ms. Stokes-Beverley and Ms. Hwang! Your school-issued iPad is critical to your instruction here at WMS. Please remember that you are expected to bring it to school EVERY DAY and FULLY CHARGED. And if there’s anything wrong with it, please tell your TA teacher so they can notify technology support. They’ll have you back online in no time!!

And if your iPad is ever out of commission, WMS has a limited number of laptops that students may use instead. However, several of these computers have gone missing lately, and we need them back! So when you go to your locker today, please look to see if there’s a WMS laptop in there. And if there is, TURN IT IN!! Thanks for your help, wolves!!

And finally, next Monday is Dr. Martin Luther King, Junior Day — otherwise known as the National Day of Service.
