  • Today we will be following the B-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 2, 4, 5, and 6 — plus Wolf Time — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. Again, this is a B-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.
    .
  • The award-winning Yorktown Symphony Orchestra and Jazz Band is coming to Williamsburg for a special performance today!  Here’s how it will work:  Students should report to their Wolf Time class for attendance, and then your teacher will escort you to the auditorium for the show.
    .
But please note, 7th graders will need to leave your 5th period class a little early — at 11:41 — and go to Wolf Time by 11:44 or you’ll miss the show.  And let’s all remember to demonstrate ASSEMBLY ETIQUETTE and to be RESPECTFUL throughout the performance.  We hope you enjoy the show!

  • Book Fair, 2024All the best books are on sale NOW!!  The PTA Scholastic Book Fair is OPEN for business from now through December 18th in the WMS library.  Students will be visiting the Fair with their English and Reading classes, but you may also go before TA, during lunch, and after school on most days. See our school librarians for more information. And thanks for supporting the Scholastic Book Fair!!
    .
  • The second day of auditions for the WMS Spring musical, Descendants Jr, are TODAY during ASP 1 and 2 in the auditorium.  Actors should memorize a 30 to 60-second monologue, AND a 30-second a cappella song that showcases your voice.
    .
There are also MANY positions available for backstage crew — including lighting, sound, costumes, sets, and more! To be considered for a backstage role, please scan the QR code outside of room 228 and complete the GoogleForm by the end-of-the-day.  And be sure to include your first and last name!  See Ms. Mac with any other questions, and break a leg!

  • Holiday Spirit Week, 2024The holidays are just around the corner — and we’re going to celebrate with SPIRIT WEEK!  Starting next Monday, students and staff are encouraged to show your school spirit by dressing up for our daily themes.
    .
And here’s the rundown:  Monday is Candy Cane Day — so wear red and white.  Tuesday is Snowman Day — so wear hats, scarves and gloves. Wednesday is PJ Day — so wear your best jammies. Thursday is Holiday Bling Day — so wear your festive headgear or accessories.  And Friday is Tacky Sweater Day — the uglier the better.
    .
Get into the spirit for Spirit Week all next week. And thanks for being a part of the Wolf Pack Pride!!
    .
  • CML, Dec. 2024And now it’s time for WOLF PACK PRIDE!! Congratulations to all of our students who competed in this month’s Continental Mathematics League — a.k.a. the CML.  They did an AMAZING job!!
    .
Twenty-seven students from all 3-grade levels scored either 10 or 11 out of 12.  Each of them should be proud of the effort they put in to this challenging opportunity.  And we know they’ll do even better in future competitions.  Way to go, mathematical wolves!! [clap]
    .
  • And finally, in honor of Friday the 13th — we’ve got a special SPOOKY story for you!
    .
Student-reporters Molly and Daniel are coming up next.
    .
    Roll tape!!
