Calling all music lovers! This Friday, the WMS Jazz Band will be performing a stand-up concert in the main lobby before TA. Students and staff are invited to stop by and enjoy the show!

The Courtyard Keepers Club needs your help! Students and staff are asked to donate GALLON JUGS for a winter sowing project. Please make sure the jugs are EMPTY and CLEANED OUT. Bring them to room 111 by Winter Break and you get a Wolf Paw in return! See Ms. Zarro with any questions. And thanks for your help, wolves!!

All the best books are on sale NOW!! The PTA Scholastic Book Fair is OPEN for business from now through December 18th in the WMS library. Students will be visiting the Fair with their English and Reading classes, but you may also go before TA, during lunch, and after school on most days. See our school librarians for more information. And thanks for supporting the Scholastic Book Fair!!

Auditions for the WMS Spring musical, Descendants Jr, are TODAY and TOMORROW during ASP 1 and 2 in the auditorium. Actors should memorize a 30 to 60-second monologue, AND a 30-second a cappella song that showcases your voice.

There are also MANY positions available for backstage crew — including lighting, sound, costumes, sets, and more! To be considered for a backstage role, please scan the QR code outside of room 228 and complete the GoogleForm by this FRIDAY, and be sure to include your first and last name! See Ms. Mac with any other questions, and break a leg!

And now it’s time time for WOLF PACK PRIDE!! Congratulations to the girls’ basketball team for improving their undefeated record to 8-0 by defeating Gunston Middle School on Tuesday by a score of 38-19.

Big props to our incredible offense — Darby, Leah, Hannah, Emmie, Sydney, Nora, Avery, Maggie, Tabitha and Olivia — who all scored in the game. Way to go, baller wolves!! [clap]

Next up for Girls Basketball — they’re playing Kenmore Middle School TODAY at 3:30 in the main gym. There will be a concession stand with candy and snacks — cash only! So come on out, pack the stands, and root our team to victory!

Wolf Pack Pride continues with the the WMS Choir — who performed their Winter Concert for HUNDREDS of family members and friends on Tuesday night. It was an incredible show, starring roughly 130 of your classmates. Way to go, musical Wolves!! [clap]

The holidays are just around the corner — and we’re going to celebrate with SPIRIT WEEK! Starting next Monday, students and staff are encouraged to show your school spirit by dressing up for our daily themes.

And here’s the rundown: Monday is Candy Cane Day — so wear red and white. Tuesday is Snowman Day — so wear hats, scarves and gloves. Wednesday is PJ Day — so wear your best jammies. Thursday is Holiday Bling Day — so wear your festive headgear or accessories. And Friday is Tacky Sweater Day — the uglier the better.
