  • WMS PTA sponsored Book Fair December 10 - 18 in the WMS LibraryAll the best books are on sale NOW!!  The PTA Scholastic Book Fair is OPEN for business from now through December 18th in the WMS library.  Students will be visiting the Fair with their English and Reading classes, but you may also go before TA, during lunch, and after school on most days. The Book Fair will also be open before-and-after tonight’s Winter Choir Concert.  See our school librarians for more information. And thanks for supporting the Scholastic Book Fair!!

  • Calling all MUNNERS!!  The WMS Model UN Club is meeting TODAY in room C105 during ASP I. Participants will review the GW Conference, and begin preparations for the upcoming conference at Dorothy Hamm Middle School next month. New members are always welcome. See Mr. McDermott with any questions.

  • The Courtyard Keepers Club needs your help!  Students and staff are asked to donate GALLON JUGS for a winter sowing project.  Please make sure the jugs are EMPTY and CLEANED OUT.  Bring them to room 111 by Winter Break and you get a Wolf Paw in return!  See Ms. Zarro with any questions.  And thanks for your help, wolves!!

  • Attention all athletes!  If you plan on participating in wrestling or Boys Basketball this winter, you MUST submit your sports physical by FRIDAY, December 20th.  Please place all forms in the yellow mailbox outside of the Activities Office.  See Ms. Hogwood with any questions.

  • And now for a “wellness tip” from our school clinic!  It’s cold, flu, and covid season again — so here are three simple strategies for keeping our shared environment HEALTHY and SAFE!  First — WASH YOUR HANDS!!  Second — Fully cover your mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing.  And third — if you’re not feeling well, please STAY HOME.  Together, we can stop these germs and viruses BEFORE they spread.  See our school nurse with any questions.

  • And now it’s time for WOLF PACK PRIDE!! The WMS Boys soccer team defeated Thomas Jefferson Middle School in a dominating performance last Thursday, by a score of 5 to zero.

    The Wolves were led by our 8th graders who were playing in their final home game. Declan C. notched a shutout in goal; Marin K. and Shawn L. had assists; Will B. and Emmett W. each scored a goal; and Caden C. got THREE goals for the hat trick.  Way to go, soccer wolves!! [clap]

    The Wolves travel to Gunston today for their last game of the season.  A win would make us the County Champions!  So be sure to wish them luck!!
