Did you miss School Picture Day in October? Or did your picture not turn out so well? Then you’re in luck! Because TODAY is “Picture Make-Up Day” in the Auxiliary Gym for all students and staff. Students retaking their portrait will not receive a new ID card unless there was a mistake on the original. And if you’ve already purchased a photo package, you must return the original before getting a retake. See Dr. Koval with any questions. And say cheese!

Get ready for a book bonanza!! The PTA Scholastic Book Fair is coming to WMS — starting next TUESDAY in the WMS Library. Students will be visiting the Fair with their English and Reading classes, but you may also go before TA, during lunch, and after school on most days. The Book Fair will also be open in the evening before-and-after the Winter Choir Concert. See our school librarians for more information. And thanks for supporting the Scholastic Book Fair!!

Calling all athletes! If you plan on participating in wrestling or Boys Basketball this winter, you MUST submit your sports physical by FRIDAY, December 20th. Please place all forms in the yellow mailbox outside of the Activities Office. See Ms. Hogwood with any questions.

And now for a “wellness tip” from our school clinic! It’s cold, flu, and covid season again — so here are three simple strategies for keeping our shared environment HEALTHY and SAFE! First — WASH YOUR HANDS!! Second — Fully cover your mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing. And third — if you’re not feeling well, please STAY HOME. Together, we can stop these germs and viruses BEFORE they spread. See our school nurse with any questions.

And now it’s time for WOLF PACK PRIDE!! The WMS girls’ basketball team improved to a perfect 7 wins and no losses after notching a pair of victories this week — defeating Dorothy Hamm Middle School 48 to 12 on Tuesday, and Thomas Jefferson Middle School 45 to 20 on Thursday.

Big props to the entire team for their dominant play on offense and defense. Let’s keep this undefeated season going! Way to go, baller wolves!! [clap]
