  • We’ve got some special activities today!  The WMS PTA is treating our students and staff to the annual FALL FESTIVAL in the courtyard!  To accommodate the festivities, we will be following a modified B-Day schedule with an extended 50-minute lunch period. Wolf Time will also be longer than usual.  So be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class.  Again, this is a modified B-Day.  See your TA teacher with any questions.
    .
  • And here’s how the Festival itself will work.  Each grade-level should go to the cafeteria at your designated lunchtime.  WMS staff will then escort you to the courtyard — where you can join the fun!  There will be donuts, cider, music, games, and more. So get ready for a great time at the PTA’s annual Fall Festival — TODAY during all grade-level lunches!!
    .
  • Attention 8th graders!!  Next week is the class field trip to Arlington Tech.  But your LAST CHANCE to turn in your permission slip is TODAY. Any student who does not turn in their permission slip will have to stay behind and sit in a classroom with a monitor for the duration of the field trip. Don’t forget!! See Ms. Bleakley with any questions.
    .
  • Calling all athletes!!  If you were on the WMS boys or girls ultimate teams, the co-ed tennis team, or the girls soccer team, TODAY is the deadline to return your uniform to Ms. Hogwood. And make sure your uniform is in a bag that’s marked with YOUR NAME so you get credit for returning it.  Otherwise, you may be charged for a replacement.  So once again, please RETURN YOUR UNIFORM!!
    .
  • Fall PE Gear Sale, 2024The Annual Fall PE Gear Sale is open for business!  From now until November 19th, WMS families may purchase hoodies, long-sleeved t-shirts, joggers, or leggings through the online store — accessible through the WMS website.  It’s a great way to show your Wolf Pack Pride — AND to stay warm on these cold fall days.  See your PE teacher with any questions about ordering.
    .
  • Attention all students! We need to to talk about your grade-level hallways.  Administrators are finding worksheets, folders, binders, iPads, and even entire backpacks that students have left behind on the floor. Please remember that all personal items should be secured in your locker throughout the day.  And if you see something on the ground, please PICK IT UP!  Let’s remember to respect our shared environment. Thanks for your help, wolves!!
    .
  • And now it’s time for WOLF PACK PRIDE!! The WMS girls’ basketball team defeated Dorothy Hamm Middle School in their home opener yesterday — 35 to 7.  Big props to Maggie K., who was the leading scorer — and to Darby, Hannah, Chloe, Sienna, Nora, Lily and Olivia who also scored.  Way to go, baller wolves!!
    .
  • Wolf Pack Pride continues with the WMS Boys Soccer team, who also started their season off strong yesterday with a big win over Dorothy Hamm — 5 to 2. Big props to 8th grader Shawn L. with two goals — including the first of the season! — 6th grader Leo D. with two goals, and 7th grader Yusuf N. with a goal. Way to go, soccer wolves!!
