  • Today we will be following the C-Day schedule.  That means you’ll be attending periods 1 through 7 — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class.  Again, this is a C-Day.  See your TA teacher with any questions.

  • Halloween Costume Guidelines, 2024It’s Halloween!  And there’s a HORDE of ghosts, goblins, and inflatable chickens roaming the halls today.  Big shout out to all of the students and staff who got into the Halloween spirit.

    But please remember that everyone must abide by the Halloween guidelines.  Costumes may not be offensive, no weapons, no masks, nothing inappropriate. — and everything else you see on your screen. And if you’re not sure — err on the side of caution and DON’T WEAR IT!  Or, ask an administrator.  Thanks for understanding, and have a Happy Halloween!!

  • Believe it or not, but TODAY is the last day of the 1st Quarter! So be sure to check StudentVue and talk to your teachers about any missing assignments or make-up work.  Again, grades close TODAY.

  • Calling all athletes!!  If you were on the WMS boys or girls ultimate teams, the co-ed tennis team, or the girls soccer team, please return your uniform to Ms. Hogwood by next FRIDAY, November 8th. You may be charged for a replacement if you don’t!  So once again, please RETURN YOUR UNIFORM!!

  • Attention Anime Club! The Anime Cosplay Party is next Wednesday during ASP1 in room 109! Remember to bring your costumes.  It’ll be ANIME-zing!!

  • WMS Mock Election Results, 2024rNext Tuesday is ELECTION DAY here in the United States.
    .
    But here at WMS, our Williamsburg Wolves have already fulfilled their CIVIC RESPONSIBILITY by voting in the 2024 Mock Election.  And here are the results!
    .
    With nearly 80-percent of the student vote, Kamala Harris was elected as the new President of the United States, with Tim Walz as the Vice President.
    .
    In the race for the U.S. Senate from Virginia, incumbent Tim Kaine was overwhelmingly re-elected.
    .
    For District 8 in the US House of Representatives — which includes Arlington — incumbent Don Beyer was also re-elected by a large margin.
    .
    And wrapping up with local elections:  JD Spain, Sr. was elected to the Arlington County Board, and Paul Weiss and Zuraya Tapia-Hadley were both elected as new members to the Arlington School Board.
