Today we will be following the A-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 1, 3, 5, and 7 — plus Wolf Time — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. Again, this is an A-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.

Believe it or not, but this THURSDAY is the last day of the 1st Quarter! So be sure to check StudentVue and talk to your teachers about any missing assignments or make-up work. Again, grades close on THURSDAY.

And speaking of the end-of-the-quarter: it’s almost time for the Wolf Paw Drawing!!! That’s right — the 1st Quarter Wolf Paw Drawing will be held this THURSDAY during TA. But to be eligible for a prize, you MUST submit your Wolf Paws by WEDNESDAY. The Wolf Paw Prizes will be on display outside of the library later this week. There’s going to be some great stuff in there — so don’t delay! Be sure to turn in your Wolf Paws by WEDNESDAY!

Calling all math lovers! Do you like numbers? Solving problems? Or playing challenging math games? Then we’ve got the perfect club for you! Math Counts — the WMS after-school math club — is recruiting new members for the new year. If you’re interested in joining, please contact Ms. Hogwood or Mr. Gardner as soon as possible. Hooray for math!!

Put your creative genius to the test! The annual PTA Reflections Contest is now accepting submissions from all grade-level students. This year’s theme is: “Accepting Imperfections.” Projects can include Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography, or Visual Arts. The Annual Fall PE Gear Sale is open for business! From now until November 19th, WMS families may purchase hoodies, long-sleeved t-shirts, joggers, or leggings through the online store — accessible through the WMS website. It’s a great way to show your Wolf Pack Pride — AND to stay warm on these cold fall days. See your PE teacher with any questions about ordering.

Calling all ghosts, ghouls, and goblins! It’s HALLOWEEN SPIRIT WEEK — and we’re celebrating all week long! Thanks to everyone who dressed up for Orange Day. You’ve got spirit, yes you do!

And here’s the rundown for the rest of the week…. Tuesday is Creepy Pajama Day; Wednesday is Spooky Accessory Day; and Thursday is Halloween Costume Day! So get dressed up, and get into the spirit for Halloween Spirit Week!

And if you are dressing up, there are some important guidelines that you need to follow. Basically, costumes must conform to the WMS dress code, not offend anyone, no weapons, no masks, nothing inappropriate — and everything else you see on your screen. And if you’re not sure — err on the side of caution and DON’T WEAR IT! Or, ask an administrator. Thanks for understanding, and have a Happy Halloween!!
