See Ms. Hogwood with any questions.

  • I hope you’ve been on your best behavior lately, because Parent-Teacher Conferences are THIS WEEK — THURSDAY from 4:30 to 7:30pm; and FRIDAY from 8 to 11:30 a.m.  Conferences will be conducted “Arena Style” — so tell your families that no appointment is necessary. Just come on in and have a chat!  Parents and teachers together — what could be better than that?!

  • October is National Bullying Prevention and Awareness Month. The purpose is educate our community about this important issue — and to teach effective strategies in response to bullying.
    .
Today’s bullying prevention topic is “Bullying 101.” Bullying can take many forms.  In addition to physical bullying, it can also be emotional and social — using words to hurt someone, leaving someone out, or gossiping and spreading rumors. Further, bullying isn’t always face-to-face — as it often occurs over cell phones and the Internet.
    .
If you, or someone you know, is struggling with bullying, please be an UPSTANDER — not a BYSTANDER.  Tell your teacher, a counselor, an administrator, or another trusted adult.  Together, we can stand up to bullies!
