  • Today we will be following the C-Day schedule.  That means you’ll be attending periods 1 through 7 — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. And remember, there is NO Wolf Time today.  Again, this is a C-Day.  See your TA teacher with any questions.

  • Calling all athletes!!  The Fall sports season keeps rolling along — with girls ultimate, girls basketball, and boys soccer scheduled to begin next month. But to participate, you MUST do TWO THINGS:  first, complete the QR code for your sport.  And second, you must submit your SPORTS PHYSICAL FORM — Girls Ultimate is due on October 7th; while Girls Basketball and Boys Soccer are due by October 18th. See Ms. Hogwood with any questions.

  • In this country, we all have the Freedom of Speech AND the Freedom to Read!  This is Banned Books Week — which raises awareness about the many books, essays, and publications that face censorship in this country. In recognition of this event, the WMS Library has created a “Banned Books Collection” on display for all students and staff.  So come get yourself a banned book — and be PROUD of your Freedom to Read!!

  • What are YOU doing after school this year?  Next MONDAY is the official start of after school activities.  If you’d like to participate, be sure to check the WMS website for meeting times and locations.  See Ms. Hogwood — or the activity sponsor — with any questions.

  • And if you do stay for after school activities, a LATE BUS is available to take you home!  Beginning next week, the late bus will run Monday thru Thursday — departing at 4:05pm. Don’t miss the bus!!

  • And now it’s time for WOLF PACK PRIDE!!  The WMS boys Ultimate team is STEAM ROLLING!! Last Wednesday, they won 3 of 4 matches against Dorothy Hamm Middle School.  And this past Monday, WMS won all FOUR of their gams against Thomas Jefferson Middle School!  So far this season, they are most DOMINANT Ultimate team in all of APS.  Way to go, Ultimate Wolves!! [clap]

  • Wolf Pack Pride continues with the Girls Soccer team — who kicked-off their season yesterday with a 7 to zero thrashing of Kenmore.  The Wolves dominated from the opening kick, scoring their first goal of the season in less than 5-minutes — and they never let up.  Props to 8th graders Harper S with 2 goals, Leah R with 2 goals, Maggie K with 2 goals, and Kala O with 1 goal.  And a terrific game by the defense for the shut out.  Way to go, soccer Wolves!! [clap]
