  • Today we will be following the C-Day schedule.  That means you’ll be attending periods 1 through 7 — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. And remember, there is NO Wolf Time today.  Again, this is a C-Day.  See your TA teacher with any questions.

  • And now it’s time for WOLF PACK PRIDE!!  The WMS Boys Ultimate team kicked off their season with FOUR games against Kenmore on Monday — and they did GREAT!  The 8th grade and 7th grade teams won their games by a combined score of 24 to 3.  Props to Dayton C., Henry H., Landon S., Louie M., and Joe D.
    .
The 6th grade team lost a tough one  — 11 to 8.  But they were playing against a much taller group of 7th and 8th graders — so they can still be proud of their effort.  Props to Sebastian B., Liam D. and Teddy B.
    .
And finally, the A team won a nail biter.  It was all tied up at the end — but the Wolves took the match in “sudden death”– winning 10 to 9.  Props to Landon B., Emmet C., and John A.  Way to go, ultimate wolves!! [clap]

  • This is National Suicide Prevention Week.  And today, we’re focusing on the power of EMPATHY. When people are struggling, we can help just by showing that we care about — and understand — what they’re going through.   Even a small act of kindness can go a long way.
    .
And now, stay tuned for this special video about suicide prevention.
  • If you or someone you know is struggling, please reach out to someone you trust — a friend, a teacher, a counselor, a family member, or another trusted adult.  You can also call the suicide prevention hotline at 988.
    .
And remember, this THURSDAY, we’re asking everyone in our community to wear the colors YELLOW or GOLD to show their support for National Suicide Prevention Day. Thanks for your help, Wolves!!
