Today we will be following the A-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 1, 3, 5, and 7 — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. Attention all students! Please bring your iPad to PE for the rest of the week — you’ll be using it for an activity on Canvas. Once again, everyone should bring your iPad to PE. See your PE teacher with any questions.

Calling all athletes!! The Fall sports season will be getting underway soon, with co-ed tennis, girls soccer, boys ultimate, and cheer. But to participate, you MUST submit your SPORTS PHYSICAL FORM — tennis, soccer and ultimate by September 3rd; and cheer by September 13th. This is NON-NEGOTIABLE. Contact our Activities Coordinator, Ms. Hogwood, at lunch for more information about getting a physical.

Did you know that Arlington and the DMV are considered the world’s TOP region for Ultimate Frisbee? In fact, 10-percent of the US National Team comes from Arlington! And YOU could be next!! Boys Ultimate kicks-off next TUESDAY, September 3rd, after school in the main gym. There are NO TRYOUTS — and EVERYONE is welcome to play! Participants should bring a water bottle and athletic clothing. See Mr. Smo in the gym or Ms. Hogwood in the cafeteria with any questions.

And now for a “technology tip” from Ms. Stokes-Beverley and Ms. Hwang! Your school-issued iPad will be a critical learning tool for you this year — so it needs to be working! If there’s anything wrong with your iPad — including password problems, cracked screen, broken apps, WiFi, or anything else — please tell your TA teacher so they can notify technology support. We’ll get you back online in no time!

Attention all students! If you ever have to leave school early, please be sure to bring a note from home to the Main Office. They’ll give you an Early Dismissal Pass — which you can show your teacher to get out of class. However, you may NOT leave the school until your parents arrive to pick you up. Just wait in the Main Office until they get here.
