  • Today we will be following the A-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 1, 3, 5, and 7 — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. Again, this is an A-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.

  • The 3rd quarter has officially begun!  And you know what that means:  it’s nearly time for the 2nd quarter Wolf Paw Drawing!!  That’s right — the 2nd Quarter Wolf Paw Drawing is TOMORROW.  But to be eligible for a prize, you MUST submit your Wolf Paws by the end-of-the-day TODAY.  Prizes are now on display outside of the library. There’s some great stuff in there — so don’t delay! Be sure to turn in your Wolf Paws TODAY!

  • Everybody in the pool!  The WMS Swim and Dive teams are getting ready for their new seasons.  To participate, interested swimmers and divers should complete the Google Form in Canvas, or scan the QR code outside of Ms. Hogwood’s office. The swim form is due by February 9th, and the dive form is due by February 16th.

  • WHAT ARE THOSE??? As part of our school’s commitment to sustainability, Williamsburg is supporting a Sneaker Recycling Program called “Got Sneakers!!” So if you have any old shoes lying around, don’t throw them away!!  Instead, please donate them to “Got Sneakers” by dropping them off in room 233 by this FRIDAY. See Mr. Sundwick with any questions.

  • Give a helping hand to those in need! The Helping Hands club is hosting a DIAPER DRIVE to benefit the Greater DC Diaper Bank from now through Friday, February 2nd. Diapers of all sizes are the priority, but we are also collecting any other baby items that could be helpful to a new mother. Please consider donating and dropping items in the WMS lobby!

  • WMS Science Fair Results, 2024And now it’s time for WOLF PACK PRIDE!! Congratulations to all the Science Wolves who competed at last week’s Science Fair!

    The following projects will be moving on to the Regional Science Fair later this year.  Congratulations to 8th graders: Cassi W., Sid G, Sophia G., Pearl S., Stephen K., Krishan S., Kylie C., Ben H., Rahil M., Mason M., Duc P., Caroline M., and Esther F.  And to 7th graders Paige C. and Y-Lan T.

    All those moving on to Regionals, please see Ms. Willet in room 115 on Friday during TA to get your paperwork and instructions.  Way to go, Science Wolves!! [clap]

  • And finally, February is Black History Month — a time to celebrate the many contributions that African Americans have made to this country.

    From the earliest days of slavery, through Emancipation, the Civil Rights Movement, and the election of our first Black president, Black history is ESSENTIAL to understanding American history.

    And now, here’s a look at just a few of the distinguished African Americans who helped to create the world we live in today.  Roll tape!
