This morning, WMS will be administering the school-wide Virginia Growth Assessment for Math. TA teachers will provide you with your testing location — so make sure you know where to go.

The only thing you need for the test is your school-issued iPad. You may also bring a book and water bottle — but please do not bring any phones, smart watches, readers, nor anything else.

The test is scheduled to run from 7:55 to 9:30am. Once complete, we will be following a modified C-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 1 through 7 — for about 35 minutes each. So make sure you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. See your TA teacher with any questions. Good luck on the test, wolves!!

What are YOU doing after school this year? The WMS Activities Fair is scheduled for THIS WEEK — TODAY for 6th graders, and THURSDAY 7th and 8th graders — both starting at 3pm in the cafeteria. Meet with coaches, club sponsors, teachers, and participating students — and find the best activity for you! Late buses will be provided for students with a valid pass. See you at the Activities Fair!!

Attention all students! Last week, WMS received the prestigious Blue Ribbon Award — recognizing our school as one of the very best in the entire country! In commemoration of this event, the school is getting everyone T-SHIRTS!! To get yours, just complete the GoogleForm through your WMS Student Info page in Canvas by this THURSDAY at 3pm. Otherwise, you’ll automatically get a size medium. See Ms. Hogwood with any questions. And enjoy your t-shirt, Wolves!

Calling all athletes!! If you want to participate in Boys Ultimate, Boys Basketball, or Girls Soccer this year, you MUST have a physical on file! Physicals for Boys Ultimate are due this Friday; while physicals for Boys Basketball and Girls Soccer are due on Friday, October 12th. You ONLY need to submit ONE physical for the entire year — so if you’ve already submitted one, you’re good! And don’t forget to scan the QR code outside of Ms. Hogwood’s office to register!
