Native American Heritage Month

November is National Native American Heritage Month. The Library of Congress, National Archives and Records Administration, National Endowment for the Humanities, National Gallery of Art, National Park Service, Smithsonian Institution, and United States Holocaust Memorial Museum have a calendar of both online and in-person events planned for the month. They are also providing ready access to curated materials celebrating and honoring Native American knowledge, traditions, and experiences.

Additionally, the WMS library catalog has a new collection, Celebrate Native American Voices, that spotlights books written by American Indian authors and available for student check out in the library or through our online platforms.
