Back to School Night, 2019

  • Hello, Wolf Pack!  This is not a dream.  You actually ARE back in Middle School!
    .
  • Before heading out into the halls this evening, there’s just a few things you need to know.  We will be following a condensed C-Day schedule — which means you’ll be attending all SEVEN of your child’s classes, plus TA.  Each class period runs for 10 minutes, then you’ll have 5 minutes between classes to find your next destination.
    .
  • Your child has prepared a daily schedule for you to follow that will be distributed in TA.  Some of these classrooms are VERY far apart, so don’t dawdle! If you need directions, there will be student guides stationed throughout the school to provide assistance.
    .
  • Unfortunately, there won’t be time for in-depth meetings with individual teachers tonight.  However, we encourage you to come back for Parent-Teacher Conferences on October 24 and 25th, where you’ll have all the time you need to talk face-to-face.
    .
  • And in case you’ve forgotten since WAY BACK in the olden days when you were actually a student:  there’s no running in the halls, spit out your gum, and always raise your hand when asking a question!
    .
  • And now, we’d like to introduce a special “Welcome Message” — Featuring our Principal, Mr. Boykin, and our PTA President, Ms. Taylor.  Stay tuned!!
  •  One last thing before you’re dismissed — TA teachers are still collecting money for student agendas, which were distributed back during the first week of school.  Agendas cost 7-dollars each, and may be paid for in cash or check, made out to Williamsburg Middle School.  Just send in your money with your kids, or you can give it to their TA teacher tonight!KIM:

  • That’s all for now, but be sure to keep tuning-in to WOLF-TV for important news, tips, and information.  Until next time: Enjoy Back to School Night, Williamsburg!!
