We begin today with WOLF PACK PRIDE! Your Williamsburg Wolves took on Kenmore Middle School in both Tennis and Soccer yesterday — and the ” wolf pack” was in high gear! The Tennis Team cruised to victory in its first match of the year — winning 5 to zero against a tough team. 6th, 7th, and 8th graders all contributed to the big win. Way to go, tennis wolves! [clap]

And the Girls Soccer Team just keeps on kicking! They scored a convincing shutout at home against Kenmore — 8 to zero — and remain undefeated and unscored on this season. Five different players scored goals on the afternoon — highlighted by 8th grader Ellie S. with a hat-trick. THAT’S how it’s done! Way to go, soccer wolves!! [clap]

Wolf Pack Pride continues on THURSDAY NIGHT — when WMS hosts BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT, from 7 to 9 p.m. This is a chance for your parents to “walk in your shoes” — as they follow your daily schedule, meet your teachers, and tour the school. So go home and tell your folks — come to Back to School Night on Thursday — and be a Part of the Pride!

In preparation for Back to School Night, ALL after school activities will be CANCELLED on Thursday — that includes intramurals and clubs. With the cancellation, we have a special note the the Model UN team — your long-awaited first meeting of the year has been RESCHEDULED for next TUESDAY after school in room 202. In the meantime, all MUNners — new and old — are encouraged to stop by Ms. Carlson’s room this week to receive a packet of information, or with any questions.

The WMS Check-in Program will be hosting a bake sale this FRIDAY after school — in support of the many victims of hurricanes Harvey, Irma, and Maria. Sweet treats will be available in the front lobby and by the cafeteria, and cost just 1 to 2-dollars each. So come on out, show your support for those in need, and get a “baked good” for a “good cause!”
