  • What are YOU doing after school this year? Williamsburg Middle School offers DOZENS of after-school activities for students — ranging from sports to clubs to academic classes. Whatever you’re into — you’re gonna find it here! So stop by the WMS Activities Fair — this THURSDAY after school in the cafeteria. Late buses will be available for the ride home. Meet with coaches, club sponsors, teachers, and participating students — and find the activity for you!
    .
  • And here’s some more info about a few of your activity options:  Do you follow current events? Do you relish a good debate? Are you interested in foreign policy, and making the world a better place? Then the WMS Model UN Club is for you! Stop by the Model United Nations table at the Activities Fair this week, and learn all about this hands-on, highly competitive and super-fun club. See Ms. Carlson in room 202 with any questions.
    .
  • “Let’s put on a play!” The Act 2 Play Production Class is recruiting aspiring actors AND crew. Participants get to pick this year’s play and musical — which will be performed on the WMS main stage. Classes will meet twice a week during ASP 1 and 2 — and the grade DOES count on your report card. For more information or to sign-up, come to the Activities Fair next THURSDAY after school — or see the drama teacher, Mr. Brown.
    .
  • And there’s a brand new club at WMS this year that’s sure to make a BIG impact on our Wolf Pack community.  If you’d like to MOTIVATE and INSPIRE others through your own hard work and good deeds, then come check out the Random Acts of Kindness Club — a.k.a. the RAK Club — at the Activities Fair tomorrow afternoon.  See Mr. Johnson for more information.  Pay if forward, everybody!!
    .
  • Hopefully, everyone will find the right activity for you this Fall — and don’t be afraid to try something new!  Clubs, intramurals, and ACT II classes are all scheduled to begin next week.  And Late buses will begin running next Monday, then going forward will be available on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.  But remember:   you WILL need an “after school pass” to be in the building after 2:35 this year, as well as to use the bus.  For more information, go to the Activities Fair tomorrow, check out the “Activities” section of the WMS website, or see the Activities Coordinator, Ms. Hogwood.
