Congratulations to all our 6th graders — who got their very own iPads last week. You’ll be using them a LOT this year. If any student — at any grade level — is having an issue with your iPad or trouble setting it up, please complete a “Student Technology Request Form,” which can be found on the WMS homepage. Also, everyone is reminded to please read and agree to the “iPad Guidelines and Expectations” Google form. Let’s keep it appropriate, Wolves!

It’s time for our WMS student-athletes to show what they can do — as sports tryouts begin this week! First up: Serve, volley, SMASH! Tennis tryouts begin TODAY at Yorktown High School. Interested athletes should meet at the bus loop by the cafeteria immediately after school for the drive over. Please see Mr. Seeger for more information.

Also getting started today: He shoots, he SCORES! The WMS boys soccer team will be holding try-outs this week — 6th graders on MONDAY, 7th graders on TUESDAY, and 8th graders on THURSDAY. The sign-up sheet is located on the Activity Board by the cafeteria. Please see Mr. Witte with any questions. And remember — all students MUST have a completed physical on-file to participate in any WMS sport.

Attention actors! The Act 2 Theatre Arts Class is now accepting students for the Fall semester. Just sign up with Mr. Brown in room 228. This year’s project is: a school play! You can perform on stage, work backstage, or even produce the show. The first meeting is scheduled for TUESDAY during ASP 1 in room 228. But there’s no late bus, so make sure you’ve got a way home.
