Today we will be following the B-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 2, 4, 5, and 6 — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. And don’t forget, all students should go back to your TA for Wolf Time. Again, this is a B-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.

Could your parents survive a day in Middle School? We’ll soon find out! Next TUESDAY is BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT at WMS, from 6 to 8pm. Parents will essentially be “walking in your shoes” — as they follow your daily schedule, meet your teachers, and tour the school. So go home and tell your folks: come to Back to School Night next Tuesday — and be a Part of the Pride!

How would YOU like to be a part of Williamsburg’s AWARD WINNING robotics team??? Mr. Dudek is seeking students from all three grades to be the newest members of Wolfbots Robotics. Interested students should see Mr. Dudek in room 129 for details, or go to the Activities Fair later this month.

And now for a “technology tip” from Ms. Solomon! You absolutely, positively, MUST have a passcode for your iPad. This basic security measure ensures that all of your personal information remains safe and secure. Also, be sure to WRITE DOWN your passcode so you don’t forget it — and consider sharing it with your parents, too! And if you have any other iPad problems, just submit the online Student Tech Help Request Form. Ms. Solomon’s got the solution for getting you back online!

WMS is gearing up for FALL SPORTS!! Next Monday, September 12th, we’ll be holding tryouts for Girls Soccer, co-ed tennis, and the co-ed Cheer Squad. Also next Monday, Boys Ultimate will be holding its first practice — all players are welcome at Ultimate with NO TRYOUTS necessary. Just check the Activities Board by the cafeteria for more information — or contact Mr. Treble for soccer, Mr. Smo for Ultimate, Mr. Mencarini for tennis, or Ms. Hogwood for Cheer.

If you’re planning on trying out for any of those sports — please be sure to scan the QR code on the activities board by the cafeteria. And girls soccer players should scan BOTH QR codes. Also, you MUST have a current physical on file by TODAY in order to participate. This is NON-NEGOTIABLE. Contact our Activities Coordinator, Ms. Hogwood, with any questions.
