  • Today we will be following the B-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 2, 4, 5, and 6 — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. Again, this is a B-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.

  • And now it’s time for WOLF PACK PRIDE!!  We’ve got some WMS sports reporting for you!  First up — Boys Ultimate Frisbee was UNBEATABLE in its season opener against Swanson on Monday — winning ALL THREE grade-level matches by a combined score of 44 to 5!!!  Even with windy conditions, the Wolves’ “throwing skills” overwhelmed the Admirals’ defense — connecting on both deep passes and ‘small ball.”  And the WMS defense was nearly perfect. Way to go, ultimate wolves!! [clap].  Next up, WMS is hosting a pair of opponents — Kenmore AND Dorothy Hamm — this afternoon after school on the turf fields.  So come on out, root them on to victory, and be a part of the PRIDE!!!

  • Wolf Pack Pride continues with the Tennis Team — who SHUT OUT Jefferson yesterday in their first match of the season, 5 – 0.  This was truly a win for the whole team. Shout out to 6th graders Maxik S. and Matthew K.; 7th grader Hailey Y.; and 8th graders Jacklynka S., Matthew H., Eleni G., Tyler C., and Qiaojing H. Way to go, tennis wolves! [clap]

  • And we wrap up Wolf Pack Pride with girls Soccer — The Wolves played an intense game against Jefferson Middle School yesterday — and came away with a well-earned TIE — 1 to 1.  Props to 8th graders Sydney K. for the score, and Katie K with the assist.  And great job to the goalies and defense for shutting it down.  Way to go, soccer wolves!! [clap]. Girls soccer returns this Thursday for a home game against Kenmore at 3:15, so come out and support your Soccer Wolves!!
