  • Today we will be following the A-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 1, 3, 5, and 7 — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. Again, this is an A-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.

  • Looking for a calm and quiet place to hang-out after school?  Then come to the WMS Library — open to all students during ASP 1 and 2 on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.  Students are welcome to find a good read, do some homework, or talk quietly with friends. But please be advised that library rules still apply: no food, no gum, no phones. See your school librarians with any questions. SHHHHHHHH!!!

  • The LATE BUS is now available to students staying after school on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.  It leaves promptly at 4:10, but you must have a pass from your ASP 2 activity to ride.  See Ms. Hogwood for more information.

  • Do you care about diversity, fairness, safety, or inclusion? Have you longed for a platform to share your ideas with peers — without judgement? Then join the Advocacy Club for its inaugural meeting — TODAY during ASP 1 in room C105. All are welcome! See Mr. Peacock for more information.

  • Read any good books lately? The “Talk about Books” Club” — a.k.a. TAB — begins TODAY during all grade level lunches in the library. So find a friend — and grab your grub — and come take a look at these Totally Awesome Books!!

  • Do you like to write? Are you carrying around a notebook of original songs, poems or stories? Do you get carried away with a 5-minute free-write? Then Inked is for you — the WMS creative writing club.  The first Inked meeting is TODAY during ASP I in room C101. See Ms. Martin for more information.

  • The TSA — otherwise known as the Technology Student Association — and WOLFBOTS are now accepting applications for the 2019-2020 school year.  Students who expressed interest should complete the Google Form provided by your TA teacher. Then come to the informational meeting TODAY during ASP 1 in room 129.  See Mr. Dude with any questions.

  • Calling all MUNers! The WMS Model UN Club will be hosting its first meeting of the year this THURSDAY during ASP 1 in room C105.  All interested MUNers are welcome to join — whether you’re brand new or a seasoned pro. See Mr. Peacock for more information.

  • Calling all bi-lingual 7th and 8th graders! If you know how to read and write in any language other than English, you should take the “Credit by Exam.” It’s an easy way to earn up to FOUR high school credits. See your grade-level counselor for more information — and be sure to register by October 4th.

  • Put your creative genius to the test! The annual PTA Reflections Contest is now accepting submissions from all grade-level students. This year’s theme is: “Look Within.” Projects can include Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography, or Visual Arts. Submission forms can be found in the WMS Library, and projects must be received by October 28th. Unleash your inner artist and submit today!!
