  • Today we will be following the B-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 2, 4, 5, and 6 — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. We also have WOLF TIME today — which will take place in your TA classroom. Again, this is a B-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.
    .
  • Could your parents survive a day in Middle School? We’ll soon find out! “Bring Your Parents to School Night” is scheduled for TONIGHT from 6 to 8 pm.  This online event will allow your parents to virtually “walk in your shoes” — as they follow your daily schedule, meet your teachers, and tour the school — all on MS Teams.  Each course will have a link to the presentation posted in Canvas — so your parents will be able to access them using your school iPad.  Contact your classroom teachers with any questions about Bring Your Parents to School Night.
    .
  • An important announcement from the PE department — all students should bring their iPads to gym this week.  Once again:  6th, 7th, and 8th graders — remember to bring your iPads to PE.
    .
  • Serve, volley, overhead SLAM!  Tryouts for the co-ed WMS Tennis Team continue TODAY after school.  Participating athletes are asked to meet by the cafeteria at 2:30 — and then everyone will walk over to the Yorktown tennis courts together.  Don’t forget your racket!!
    .
  • And a reminder for all athletes — and all sports. You MUST have a current physical on file to participate in after-school athletics. This is NON-NEGOTIABLE. For more information about getting a physical, contact Ms. Hogwood, our Activities Coordinator.
    .
  • What are YOU doing after school this year? WMS offers DOZENS of after-school activities for students — ranging from sports to clubs to academic classes. Whatever you’re into, you’re gonna find it here! .
    .
  • So stop by the WMS Activities Fair — scheduled for next MONDAY, September 20th for 6th graders; and TUESDAY, September 21st for 7th and 8th graders — both starting at 2:30 in the cafeteria.  Meet with coaches, club sponsors, teachers, and participating students — and find the activity for you! See Ms. Hogwood with any questions about the Activity Fair.
    .
  • And one last thing — starting TOMORROW at 7:50am sharp, the Morning Announcements will be broadcast LIVE to your classroom television on WOLF-TV! So be sure to tune-in for important news, tips, and information.
