Today we will be following the A-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 1, 3, 5, and 7 — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. And don’t forget, all students should go back to your TA for Wolf Time. Again, this is an A-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.

Could your parents survive a day in Middle School? We’ll soon find out! Tomorrow is BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT at WMS, from 6 to 8pm. Parents will essentially be “walking in your shoes” — as they follow your daily schedule, meet your teachers, and tour the school. So go home and tell your folks: come to Back to School Night — and be a Part of the Pride!

Calling all students! Please bring your iPad to PE this week for Physical Fitness testing. Once again, everyone needs to bring your iPad to PE from today through Friday. See your PE teacher with any questions.

WMS is gearing up for FALL SPORTS!! Today, we’ll be starting tryouts for Girls Soccer, co-ed tennis, and the co-ed Cheer Squad. Also today, Boys Ultimate will be holding its first practice — all players are welcome at Ultimate with NO TRYOUTS necessary. Just check the Activities Board by the cafeteria for more information — or contact Mr. Treble for soccer, Mr. Smo for Ultimate, Mr. Mencarini for tennis, or Ms. Hogwood for Cheer.

One more important note about today’s sports: rain is in the forecast this afternoon, so participating students should pay attention to the announcements during lunch and after school in case any of them are cancelled and need to be rescheduled. Good luck staying dry!!

And now for a “technology tip” from Ms. Solomon! You absolutely, positively, MUST have a passcode for your iPad. This basic security measure ensures that all of your personal information remains safe and secure. Also, be sure to WRITE DOWN your passcode so you don’t forget it — and consider sharing it with your parents, too! And if you have any other iPad problems, just submit the online Student Tech Help Request Form. Ms. Solomon’s got the solution for getting you back online!

Hispanic Heritage Month is just around the corner — and WMS is gearing-up for a host of activities and celebrations. But we need your help!
