- Today we will be following the C-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 1 through 7 — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. And remember, there is NO Wolf Time today. Again, this is a C-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.
. - And now for an important announcement from the PE department! Everyone will be taking their Physical Fitness test this week, so all students need to have athletic shoes, your PE uniform or athletic clothing, and your iPad in class. Once again, come prepared with shoes, clothing, and your iPad for the Physical Fitness test in PE. You got this, wolves!!
. - Put your creative genius to the test! The annual PTA Reflections Contest is now accepting submissions from all grade-level students. This year’s theme is: “Accepting Imperfections.” Projects can include Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography, or Visual Arts. The deadline to submit is Friday, November 22nd. Go to wmspta.org for more information, and to submit your projects online. Unleash your inner artist and submit to the PTA Reflections Contest today!!
. - And now for a “technology tip” from Ms. Stokes-Beverley and Ms. Hwang! Your school-issued iPad will be a critical learning tool for you this year — so it needs to be working! If there’s anything wrong with your iPad — including password problems, cracked screen, broken apps, WiFi, or anything else — please tell your TA teacher so they can notify technology support. We’ll get you back online in no time!
. - Calling all students! This Thursday and Friday, the entire school will be taking the NWEA MAP tests in Reading and Math. Please be aware that the testing window will run for 2-hours — even if you finish early. So we strongly recommend you bring a book to read — maybe even the one you checked out for your English class.
. - In the fight against breast cancer — YOU can make a difference!! Today is the LAST DAY to purchase items from the WMS Breast Cancer Awareness store — which can be accessed through the WMS website. Items willl be shipped directly to your home, and all proceeds will support the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
