  • SOL make-ups continue today — along with retakes for the 8th grade Math Exam — beginning right after TA in the library.
    .
Test-takers are reminded that you may ONLY bring the following items: a pencil or pen, a book to read, and earbuds ONLY if you have an approved audio accommodation for the test.
    .
You may NOT bring: backpacks or cinch sacks; any electronic devices; nor any water or snacks. And of course, there is zero tolerance for CHEATING.
    .
The rest of the school will be on a NORMAL schedule today, but as always, you are reminded to be quiet and respectful in the halls — ESPECIALLY when passing the library between classes. Teachers will be monitoring to ensure that there are no disruptions. Good luck on the SOLs, wolves!
    .
  • An important announcement for the WMS Track Team — the end-of-the-year party has been RESCHEDULED.  It will now take place on THURSDAY during ASP 1.  Team members should check the Track Team Google Classroom page for more details, and to RSVP.  Be sure to bring 5-dollars for food and drinks, and don’t forget to pick-up a “County Champions” T-Shirt.  See you there, running wolves!
    .
  • Point of order!  The Model UN will be hosting its “End-of-the-Year Party” this THURSDAY after school in room 202. Check out the Model UN Google Classroom for details. Or see Ms. Carlson with any questions.
    .
  • If you still have a WMS library book, then it’s OFFICIALLY overdue — and the librarians want them back!  So check your bag, your locker, and under your bed at home— and BRING IN YOUR BOOKS!!  See a WMS librarian with any questions.
    .
  • CANNON BALL!! It’s nearly time for the annual Knights of Columbus Pool Party!!  All 6th and 7th graders are invited to a day of fun in the sun next week —  6th graders on Monday, and 7th graders on Tuesday — to celebrate a successful year. The pool party runs from 10 to 1:30, will feature a DJ and dancing, pizza and shaved ice, swimming, human foosball, raffle prizes, and more!
    .
But a few things to remember before the big day:  all students must fill out and return a signed APS permission slip no later than this FRIDAY to attend.  Bring a towel, plenty of sun screen, and of course — a BATHING SUIT.  You may also want to bring a change of clothes for before and after the event.  See your TA teacher with any questions.
