At long last, the SOL schedule is officially over!! Way to go, everybody, we made it!! [clap]

However — there are still some tests that need to be completed. SOL make-ups and retakes for the World Geo and Civics exams will be held TODAY in the library following TA.
.
Test-takers are reminded that you may ONLY bring the following items: a pencil or pen, a book to read, and earbuds ONLY if you have an approved audio accommodation for the test. You may NOT bring: backpacks or cinch sacks; any electronic devices; nor any water or snacks. And of course, there is zero tolerance for CHEATING.
.
The rest of the school will be on a NORMAL schedule today, but as always, you are reminded to be quiet and respectful in the halls — ESPECIALLY when passing the library between classes. Teachers will be monitoring to ensure that there are no disruptions. Good luck on the SOLs, wolves!

And now for some WOLF PACK PRIDE!! Your Williamsburg Wolves were a HUGE sensation at the Arlington Student Film Fest this weekend. All together, WMS had more films at the event than ANY OTHER SCHOOL in Arlington.

A record 32- student film makers and journalists from WMS were honored as official selections, nominees, and award winners. And the winners are:
- Receiving a medal for special merit:
  - Kiersten B. for Screenwriting — New Media VLOG;
  - and Joey P. for Commentary — RANT.
- Taking Co-1st place medals for best PSA were:
  - Alex, M., Sage D., Bora Y., Annie B., and Lydia C. for “Beware of Online Predators”;
  - and Anamarie S.R., Tony D., Daniel G., Lydia C., and Dave P. for “Stop Child Abuse.”
- Winning 1st place for Journalism:
  - Annie B. for “Military Homecomings”;
- 1st place in Original Song goes to Celia N. for “Celia’s World.”
- And 1st place for best News segment:
  - Lydia C. for “I’ve Got Issues.”
