Today we will be following the “anchor” C-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 1 through 7 — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. And remember, there is NO Wolf Time today. Again, this is an “anchor” C-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.

Just a reminder that SOL make-up testing will be taking place in the library today. So EVERYONE is asked to please be quiet and considerate when passing through the main lobby between classes. Thanks for your help, wolves!!

There’s a very SPECIAL EVENT scheduled for this Friday — it’s the 4th quarter WOLF PAW DRAWING!! But to be eligible, you MUST turn-in all of your Wolf Paws by TODAY at the end of your lunch period. Late “paws” will not be accepted, so again — be sure to turn-in your Wolf Paws TODAY! Good luck, wolves!!

And now for an important announcement from our school librarians — all library books are now DUE and MUST be returned before the end-of-the-year. Just put them in the “return carts” outside of the library and the cafeteria. Overdue notices will be emailed home later this week — and students ARE responsible for paying a fine if their books are not returned. So look in your backpack, your locker, and under your bed at home — and BRING IN YOUR BOOKS!

And now for a technology tip from Ms. Solomon! It’s almost time to turn-in your iPads! In preparation, all students are asked to please make sure you have a LABEL on your iPad case. The label should clearly display your NAME and Williamsburg Middle School. If you don’t have a label, you may get one from the Main Office. AND DON’T PICK IT OFF!!!

Calling all members of the WMS GSA! Just in time for Pride Month — your club t-shirts have finally arrived! If you ordered a t-shirt earlier this year, please pick it from Mr. Bell in room 112 before or after school.

And speaking of Pride Month — Did you know that during the Holocaust in World War Two, gay people were forced to wear pink triangles on their clothing so guards could easily identify them? Well, fast-forward to the present, and the queer community has reappropriated that symbol as a badge for PRIDE.

The WMS Gender and Sexuality Alliance invites everyone to wear PINK this Friday to show solidarity for the LGBTQ community. Thanks for your support, wolves, and Happy Pride Month!!
