  • We begin today with WOLF PACK PRIDE!  Yesterday’s 8th grade Promotion Ceremony was a huge success — as over 400 of our fellow “Williamsburgers” said FAREWELL to middle school, and set off for high school.
    .
Congratulations to all of the teachers, staff, and student volunteers who helped to manage the event, and a special THANK YOU to Ms. Hogwood — who’s been coordinating this for MONTHS.  Way to go, wolves — for sending off the 8th graders in style!! [clap]
    .
  • Wolf Pack Pride continues with some good cookin’ in the kitchen!  Participants in the Family and Consumer Science FALL and ACT 2 classes had their TOP CHEF competition this month, and the results are in!  And the winners are…  From PERIOD 4 WEEK 1 with Chicken Alfredo Penne Pasta —  KHALIUN B., MARYAM E., RISHIMA S., and JANVI S.
    .
From PERIOD 4 WEEK 2 with a Taste of Italy — CECELIA S., SYDNEY K., MARIN P., and CATE L.
    .
From PERIOD 5 WEEK 1 with Spaghetti Pie —  OLIVIA L., BROOKE W., PIERCE L., and  SOPHIE T.
    .
From PERIOD 5 WEEK 2 with Creamy Garlic Penna Pasta — AMEILA H., CAMILA R., and CAROLINE V.,
    .
And finally from the SPRING ACT II CLASS with Lava Cake —  JOHN T.
    .
Congratulations to all of our TOP CHEFS!  Be sure to stop by Ms. Colihan’s room TODAY for your prize.  Way to go, cooking wolves!! [clap]
    .
  • And now for an important message from our school librarians. All overdue library books MUST be returned AS SOON AS POSSIBLE! There are still HUNDREDS of overdue books out there — and the library needs them back. So look in your backpack, your locker, and under your bed at home — and BRING IN YOUR BOOKS!
    .
  • Have you checked the lost and found lately? There are literally HUNDREDS of jackets, sweatshirts, water bottles, lunch boxes, and so much more. Be sure to take a look — you may just find some long lost treasures! Anything not claimed by this FRIDAY will be donated… or discarded.
    .
  • This is a reminder from the School Clinic that all student medications MUST be picked-up between now and next WEDNESDAY, June 26th.  Any unclaimed prescriptions or items will be discarded.  Students must have a note from home if they want to pick-up the medications themselves — otherwise, please ask your parents to stop by.  See the school nurse with any questions.
    .
  • Did you know that over 1-BILLION toothbrushes end up in landfills every year? Ms. Willet’s 7th grade science classes are now collecting old toothbrushes, toothpaste tubes, and floss containers — all of which will be recycled to cut down on waste and pollution. Just drop them in the RECYCLING BOX located in the main lobby. Let’s make a difference Williamsburg!
