It’s PROMOTION DAY here at WMS. After three years of hard work and sacrifice, our 8th graders are preparing to move-on to high school — and the next chapter in their lives. On behalf of the entire Williamsburg community, we’d just like to say — good job and good luck, class of 2022!! [clap]

And now for some details about today’s event: Promoting 8th graders should report to the GYM at 8:10 — which is the END of your TA period. Once you get there, please start lining-up in the hallway in preparation for the Promotion Ceremony — which is scheduled to begin at 8:30.

Space in the gym is limited to families and invited guest. However, classroom teachers are invited to watch the ceremony — which will be live-streamed on MS Teams. Just follow the link on the WMS Homepage to see the ceremony.

Immediately following Promotion, there will be an informal reception in the front courtyard for our graduates and their families. Be sure to drop by — and say goodbye!

As for the rest of the school, we will be following a C-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 1 through 7. But students are asked to please be quiet and respectful while passing through the halls so we don’t disrupt Promotion.

Did you get your Yearbook this week? The Yearbook staff will be hand-delivering all remaining Yearbooks TODAY. If you haven’t gotten yours by tomorrow, please see Mr. Schonfeld in the Library Classroom.

And now it’s time for WOLF PACK PRIDE! We’ve got the results of this year’s D.A.R. History Award — and the following students were big WINNERS!! Congratulations to 6th graders Siddhath G. and Noe K; and 7th graders Faros K. and Celia B.
