  • Calling all 8th graders!  It’s time to leave for your King’s Dominion Field Trip!  If you haven’t already done so, please report IMMEDIATELY to the staging area for your assigned group — and then head-out TOGETHER to the buses. The forecast is calling for lots of sunshine today, so be sure to wear plenty of sunblock and drink lots of water.  And don’t forget that you’ll be representing your school and your community — so please be sure to behave with respect and responsibility throughout the day.   Have a great time at the park, 8th graders!

  • And now it’s time for WOLF PACK PRIDE!  The first annual FIELD DAY was a HUGE success yesterday. 6th and 7th grade students were running wild — with dozens of friendly games and competitions, music, dancing, and yummy snacks.  With just a few days left of school — Field Day was a great way to blow-off steam and ease into the summer.  Special thanks to all the PTA volunteers, to our teachers and staff for playing along, and a big shout-out to Assistant Principals Rowden, Hicks, and McCarthy — for putting it all together.  Way to go, wolves!!

  • Attention all TA TEACHERS!! The 2017-2018 Williamsburg Yearbook is HERE!!  They will be distributed on FRIDAY morning.  Here’s the procedure — during Wolf Time TOMORROW, teachers are requested to send TWO representative to room 132, where they can pick-up your TA’s yearbook orders.  The students will then bring the yearbooks back to your classroom, and you can distribute them to the kids.  Don’t forget — get your Yearbooks TOMORROW during Wolf Time. See Ms. Briones with any questions.

  • And now for an important announcement from our school librarians!  There are still over 250 overdue books out there — and they all MUST be returned before the end-of-the-year.  Overdue notices are now being emailed home — and students ARE responsible for paying a fine if their books are not returned. So look in your backpack, your locker, and under your bed at home — and BRING IN YOUR LIBRARY BOOKS!

  • This is a reminder from the School Clinic that all student medications MUST be picked-up between now and the end-of-the-year.  Any unclaimed prescriptions will be discarded.  Students must have a note from home if they want to pick-up the medications themselves — otherwise, please ask your parents to stop by.  See the school nurse with any questions.

  • Calling all student-athletes! If you played a school sport this year — you MUST return your team uniform AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. Please bring them to Ms. Hogwood’s office, located across from the auditorium. Again, all team uniforms must be returned before the end-of-the-year.

  • Do you like Duck Donuts? Pizza? Bagels? Chocolate? OF COURSE YOU DO!!  Ms. Compton’s English class is holding a raffle for all these delicious prizes — donated by Lee-Harrison Shops.  Tickets are just 1-dollar each, and will be on sale TODAY and TOMORROW during all grade-level lunches. All money raised will benefit St. Jude Children’s Hospital and help kids with cancer.  Good luck on the raffle, wolves!
