- The SOLs continue today with make-up testing for 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. Students taking the test should report to the Library immediately following TA this morning. Remember to bring a pencil, a book to read, and earbuds ONLY if you have an approved audio accommodation for the test. No bags, electronics, water or snacks will be allowed. And for all those students who are NOT testing today — please remember to be quiet and respectful in the halls. Good luck on the test, wolves!!
. - Need something good to read? The library may be closed during the SOLs, but students can still get books by clicking on the “Book Checkout Request” tab in the “Library” section of the WMS website. The book will then be delivered to your TA as soon as it’s available. Also, please be sure to return your books to the library carts located in the front lobby and by the cafeteria. Reading rocks!
. - “To be, or NOT to be!” The entire 7th grade class will be attending an exclusive Shakespearean performance TODAY in the auditorium. Mystics and Nationals should report IMMEDIATELY following the announcements at 8 a.m. for the first show. Then the Capitals and Wizards should go to the auditorium directly from 2nd period for the second show. DO NOT go to your 3rd period class first! See your TA teacher with any questions, and enjoy the show!
. - The WMS “Wolfbots” will be holding tryouts for next year’s Robotics team — on MONDAY, June 5th during ASP 1 in room 129. The tryouts are REQUIRED for all rising 7th and 8th graders who wish to participate — both newbies and returning members alike. See Mr. Dudek with any questions. Good luck, Robo-wolves!!
. - Winner winner, chicken dinner! The annual 8th grade CASINO NIGHT is next FRIDAY — June 9th at 6:30 p.m. in the cafeteria. There will be table games, prizes, dancing, selfies, delicious food, and of course hanging out with your best friends. Feel free to dress up — or dress down — but either way: follow the dress code. Casino Night at WMS — get in on the fun!!
