  • We begin today with WOLF PACK PRIDE!  The Hoops for Heart fundraiser was an INCREDIBLE success this year.  All the donations envelopes have been counted, and the grand total is:  over 4-THOUSAND dollars!!  All money raised will go to the American Heart Association, to promote research and help in the fight against cancer.  Thanks to all of our generous and hard-working students for making this possible — you prizes are on the way.  Way to go, wolves!! [clap]

  • On your marks, get set — GO!!  The WMS Track Team will be heading to the County Track Meet ON THURSDAY at 1 p.m. at Swanson Middle School.  Student-athletes will be competing in a range of events — and are looking to bring home the gold.  So let’s cheer them on — and be a Part of the Pride!  Go get ’em, running wolves!!   • This week is Custodian Appreciation week — and the Leo Club encourages everyone at WMS to show their appreciation by signing the THANK YOU Cards by the cafeteria and teachers’ lounge, or by thanking them in person!  We appreciate you, custodian wolves!! [clap]

  • Calling all book lovers! The Teen Advisory Board — a.k.a. TAB — will be meeting TODAY during all grade level lunches in the library. Participants will be voting on their favorite book of the year, so grab your grub and come take a look at these Totally Awesome Books!!

  • Calling all native-Spanish speakers!  Today is your LAST CHANCE to sign-up for next year’s “Spanish for Fluent Speakers” class.  If you speak Spanish at home, then you could EASILY earn a special “Seal of Bi-literacy” on your high school diploma. Don’t miss out on the opportunity!  Just scan the QR code with your TA teacher, or see your grade-level counselor for more information.

  • And for all those students who do sign-up for “Spanish for Fluent Speakers”  — the placement test is scheduled for TOMORROW at 8 a.m. in the cafeteria.  Your TA teacher will be give you a pass, so try not to be late.  Buena Suerte!

  • The Teen Trendsetters Club will be meeting TODAY during ASP 1 in room WW 18.  There are only THREE meetings left, so don’t let your Discovery mentees down!  See Ms. Clayton with any questions.

  • What’s in your basket!  The Extended Day Check-In program will be selling tickets for its annual “Raffle Basket” fundraiser during all grade level lunches today.  Each basket is overflowing with gifts, goodies and treats. Tickets are just 1-dollar, and all money raised will go to benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society — in the fight against cancer.  This is the LAST DAY of sales.  See Ms. Kia with any questions.
