- Today we will be following the A-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 1, 3, 5, and 7 — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. Again, this is an A-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.
. - If a picture is worth a thousand words — then the WMS Yearbook is absolutely PRICELESS! The 2024 Yearbook is on sale NOW! It’s just 45-dollars to buy — and you can order online through the WMS website. But fewer than 50 copies remain in stock — so make sure to get YOURS before they’re gone. Contact Ms. Briones with any questions. Don’t miss out on the memories!
. - We need to talk about LOCKERS! If you’ve decorated a friend’s locker, those decorations MUST be removed after a week. We’ve got to keep our lockers neat and clean — both INSIDE and OUTSIDE. Plus, please make sure you’re CLOSING your locker every time so it locks. And if it won’t close, see your TA teacher for help.
. - And now for a “technology tip” from Ms. Hwang! The SOLs are scheduled for NEXT WEEK, so your iPad needs to be working! If you are having any problems with your school-issued iPad — whether it’s password problems, not connecting to the internet, glitching apps, cracked screens, or ANYTHING else — please tell your TA teacher so they can notify technology support. They’ll have you back online in no time!!
. - And speaking of SOLs, did you know that MOST students will finish their tests BEFORE time expires? And that once you’re finished, you are NOT allowed to use your iPad? So you need to plan ahead! Students are encouraged to stop by the library and check-out a good book! You’ll be glad you did! See our school librarians for a recommendation.
. - And finally —- The end of the school year is just over a month away.
