  • We  begin today with Wolf Pack Pride!  First up: Congratulations to the WMS Model UN Club for doing a fantastic job at TECHMUN this weekend!  Special props to 8th graders Jim S. and Benji G. — who were both recognized with awards for their outstanding debate skills. Way to go, MUNner wolves!! [clap]  The next Model UN meeting is scheduled for this THURSDAY during ASP 1 in room 202 — as the team prepares for the upcoming Washington-Lee Conference.
  • Next up:  let’s “hear it” for the WMS Band, who amazed at a pair of big events last week.  On Tuesday, nearly 40 musicians participated in the highly-anticipated “Solo and Chamber Night” concert, including: soloists, a duet and a trio; the Jazz Academy Combos; and the WMS Chamber Winds.  Then on Saturday, the band traveled to Langston Hughes High School for the annual “Solo and Ensemble Festival” — performing with some of greatest musicians in all of Northern Arlington.  Way to go, music wolves!  [clap] In case you missed it, here’s a sampling of the sounds from last week’s show.
